	Practices
	We are done! I had a great year with you all!

	Football Games 2013
	The 8th grade cheer team will be cheering at two games: 1. Saturday, 10/19--please be dressed, ready, and dropped off at JFK by 8:45am. Game starts at 9:30am. 2. Wednesday, 10/23--please be dressed, ready, and in the cafe by 3:30pm. Game starts at 4:15pm (not 4:30pm).

	Costs/Items to Purchase
	There is no cost for the uniform itself, but all girls must purchase the following items: 1. blue boy-short cheer shorts to wear underneath their skirts (commonly referred to as spanks/spankies)--must be purchased by 10/1/13 (worn to first home football game) 2. white under-armor long sleeve tee to wear underneath their cheer top--must be purchased by 10/1/12 (worn to first home football game) 3. a cheer bow (approx $20--we will be ordering these as a team and we'll send home info about this soon) OPTIONAL: Coach Schmeider and I designed a cheer long-sleeve shirt and cheer sweatshirt this year (we sent order forms home on Wednesday, 9/25)--these DO NOT HAVE to be purchased. You may choose to purchase none, one, or both for your daughter.

	Cheer Practice Dates/Times
	8th Grd cheerleaders will meet for practice every Wednesday in the cafeteria after school from 3:30-6:00pm, unless otherwise noted. PLEASE get picked up promptly at 6:00pm. Cheer is a two-season activity. Girls must commit to be part of the team from September to February if they plan to join. We cheer at football games in the fall and basketball games in the winter. Once basketball season is over, so is cheer.

	Reminder
	If you miss practice prior to the game, you may NOT cheer in the game.
